Proofreading on Matecat
To start proofreading a translation, click on any segment, make any necessary changes and click on the green button APPROVED.
If you made any changes, you need to specify the type of issue based on 5 different categories.
- Click the circle icon with the exclamation mark and select the type of issue.
- Please also specify the level of severity of the issue (Neutral, Minor, Major).
Your proofreading task is finished when all segments have been approved. You’ll be able to see the progress bar on the bottom left corner.
